If you are planning to head over to 1276 Commonwealth Ave, here are the essentials:
- Service Times:
- Theology Class: 10:00 am – 11:00 am
- Worship Service: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
- The Vibe: A multicultural congregation with a mix of hymns and worship choruses accompanied by guitar.
- The Perk: They offer a free community meal and fellowship immediately following the service.
Questions:
“Do I have to dress a certain way?”
No. You’ll see people dressed in everything from their Sunday best to more casual and comfortable clothes. All are welcome, just come as you are.
“Will I be expected to put money in the offering?”
No. Our ministries come with no strings attached. The opportunity to give will be presented, but visitors are our guests, and are never obligated to contribute to the offering.
“Will I be pointed out or made to stand up and introduce myself?”
No. We will be honored to have you with us, but we will not point you out as a guest or ask you to stand up and speak.
“Will I be pressured into “getting saved” or making some kind of commitment?”
No. No one will pressure you to make any kind of commitment. The gospel will be presented during the service, and there will be an opportunity to respond to the message, but each person is free to choose how they respond.
